we worked hard morning to night to finish up all of our work. (we worked, yeah. all the time, i just forgot to mention it most of the time, but it took up most of our time) the team on the last day:

we ended up with some awesome pieces for ITESM, welllll for their european offices. an awesome online map system that is going to be unbelievably helpful for their students wanting to study abroad. courtney and i also designed some sweet informational packets on each country, and all the cities they have partnership programs in, and a promotional poster for the european offices. (which included doing all of the research in about six different languages, graphic designers foreign fact finding in a little office 10-6 everyday for two weeks, needless to say we were a litttttle crazy by the time we actually got to do some design work) we also created email and powerpoint templates, and an email signature to unify the look of the offices. everything ended up working out, and we have created some very useful, and of course visualllly interesting pieces for our client. SUCCESS!

we watched the spain game at our favorite bar in downtown barcelona, cheers. we were regulars now. (i mean we had been there a month) then we were off to mallorca.

mallorca,
an interesting place. this spanish island in the mediterranean has been taken over by german tourists. german tourists like to party, intense partying. every menu was in german, then spanish. we were the only americans on the island.  every time we said we were from america, we got calls of WHY ARE YOU NOT IN IBIZA, WHAT, REALLY?, ENGLISH OHHH ENGLISHHH. people were confused by our presence. besides the endless german club promoters, and the pamphlets about porno castings just down the street, mallorca was beautiful. we finally put our snorkels to use in the mediterranean. it was amazing.

we also had an awesome dinner, in which we ALL ate seafood. real shocker. we are all new people. (and we had some cheesecake, emphasis on the cheese, such a weird thing. the texture, the flavor, so strange)

then it was back to barcelona, back to la garriga, back to barcelona, back to philly, back to nashville, back to knoxville. all in about 36 hours.

im back,

mmmm wanderlust. i finally understand the feeling.

side note: spain won the world cup, mainly because we cheered them on while we were there,.

slt.
